I am an Inner Axis teacher based in Hertfordshire and North London, England.
I provide group yoga classes, one to one sessions and corporate yoga sessions for companies / institutions wanting to provide an easily accessible wellness programme for their staff/faculty.

Meet Jenny

I teach a type of yoga called Inner Axis.
Inner Axis deals directly with stress, anxiety and sleeplessness. Producing a level of fitness that makes you feel better, sleep better and therefore function at a higher level in your relationships, life and work. 

 

I am passionate about helping people and have a background working with children with special needs, in care-work with adults and volunteering in creative industries.
My goal as a teacher is to provide my students with a safe, honest and welcoming environment in which to come and be able to be themselves, with no competitiveness or pressure. The aim of Inner Axis is not to focus on the extreme version of postures and tie our bodies into knots. It is to untie the knots that already exist within.

 

Developed by renowned teacher and writer, Max Strom, Inner Axis classes include breath based yoga movement and mindfulness and are accessible to all levels of fitness from beginners to experienced practitioners. 

Inner Axis is not a sport and it is not made to be competitive, each class is taught with multi-level options. 


It is a daily life practice for everyone who desires inner health as well as physical health. 
Inner Axis has had great success with individuals across the world in workshops, retreats, and one­-to-­one sessions, therefore it is now being adopted by corporations as a sustainable wellness programme.

Inner Axis classes consist of breath initiated movement, inspiring visualisations and immediately effective relaxation techniques. 
To accelerate and deepen learning, Inner Axis uses repetitive physical and breathing patterns -students are never made to push deeper into positions, rather the students are given different options to adjust to their own capacity. The students of Inner Axis classes are educated about the reasoning behind the postures and techniques used in the class and the benefits behind these methods. 
The Inner Axis approach is that everyone is welcome, regardless of experience or current ability. The class offers a safe, friendly atmosphere with no judgement on each other's abilities.
